Who we are

Kolekta PH is published by JedRey IT Solutions, Sariaya, Quezon, Philippines. You can reach us at jedrey.it@gmail.com. This policy covers the Kolekta PH Android application and this website, kolekta.jedreyitsolutions.com.

What the app stores, and where

When you use Kolekta PH you create records: customer names, nicknames, phone numbers, addresses, notes, optional photos, amounts owed, payments received, due dates, and any reasons you type when correcting an entry.

All of it is written to private storage on your own device, in an area that other apps cannot read. None of it is transmitted to us or to anyone else. We never see it, and we have no way to see it.

The app does not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, location, contacts, usage analytics, or crash reports. It contains no analytics software, no advertising software, and no third-party tracking software of any kind.

When information leaves your device

Information leaves your device only when you choose to send it, in one of these ways.

You share a reminder or a statement. When you send a reminder by SMS or share a statement through another app, that content goes to the app and the recipient you pick. What happens to it after that is governed by that app and that recipient, not by us.

You export a backup. A backup is written to the location you choose, such as Google Drive, your Files app, or a memory card. If you set a password, the file is encrypted with AES-256-GCM before it is written, and the password is not stored anywhere. We cannot recover a backup for you, and we never receive a copy of one.

You buy Kolekta PRO. The purchase is handled entirely by Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment and tells the app only whether a purchase exists. We do not receive your payment details, and Google does not receive your customer records. Google's handling of the transaction is covered by the Google Play Terms of Service and Google's privacy policy.

The app requests internet access for that purchase check alone. It makes no other network requests.

Permissions the app asks for, and why

The app does not request access to your contacts. When you use "Select from contacts", Android shows its own picker and returns only the single contact you tap.

Security

• The app's records are stored in private app storage, which other apps cannot read.
• If you turn on app lock, your PIN is never stored. The app keeps only a value derived from it using PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 with 120,000 iterations, and that value is itself encrypted with a key held in the Android Keystore.
• Backups you create with a password are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, with the key derived using PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256 with 200,000 iterations.
• Android's automatic cloud backup and device-to-device transfer are switched off for this app, so your ledger is never copied off the phone without you asking for it.
• The privacy screen option hides the app in the recent-apps list and blocks screenshots.

No security measure is absolute. Because your records live on your device, protecting the device itself, with a screen lock and by keeping it updated, matters as much as anything the app does.

This website

This website has no advertising, no analytics, and no cookies. Its fonts and images are served from this site, so no third party is contacted when you read it.

If you join the launch list, the email address you enter is sent to our contact inbox at jedrey.it@gmail.com, together with the page you signed up from, the time, and your IP address, which we use only to block abuse. We use your email for one thing: to tell you when Kolekta PH is available. We do not sell, rent, or share it. To be removed from the list, email jedrey.it@gmail.com.

Like any web server, ours records basic request logs (such as IP address, time, and page requested) to keep the site running and secure. These logs are not used to identify or profile visitors.

Children

Kolekta PH is a business tool intended for adults. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone, of any age, because we do not collect information at all.

Your customers' information

If you record another person's name or phone number in the app, you are the one deciding to keep that record. Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (RA 10173), please treat it the way you would a paper notebook holding the same details: keep it to yourself, use it only for the purpose it was given, and delete it when you no longer need it. The app gives you archive and delete options for that reason.

Please do not use reminders to publicly shame anyone or to contact a person's family, employer, or neighbours about a debt. The app deliberately offers only private, one-to-one messages that you send yourself.

What Kolekta PH is not

Kolekta PH is a record-keeping tool. It does not lend money, approve loans, connect borrowers to lenders, score credit, process payments, or collect on anyone's behalf.

Deleting your data

Uninstalling the app permanently deletes everything it holds on your device. There is nothing held anywhere else for us to delete, and no request you need to send us. If you want to keep a copy before uninstalling, export a backup first.

Within the app, you can delete an individual customer who has no history, archive one who does, and erase all local data from the lock screen if you forget your PIN.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this address and the date at the top will change. Material changes will also be noted in the app's release notes.
